Working from her studio in Frome, Somerset Rose works primarily by hand and focuses on antique textiles and natural dyeing. Her work is defined by precision and close attention to construction. Each stitch and fold is considered in relation to the whole.

She describes her process as sculptural, transforming flat lengths of fabric into pieces with structure, movement and proportion. These cushions were developed for our Galerie and use the same fabrics and colourways as the room-dividing curtains in our London studio.
