FAQs

Staging FAQ's

  • What is home staging?

Home staging is the process of preparing a property so it presents well for marketing and viewings. This can include editing the contents of the home, refining the layout of rooms and introducing selected furniture, lighting or accessories to clarify the space.

Most buyers form an impression of a property within the first few seconds of entering. Thoughtful staging helps viewers understand the space and imagine living there.

  • When should staging take place?

Staging is usually carried out before the property is photographed and launched to the market. This ensures the home is presented clearly in marketing images and during viewings.

  • Do I need to move out of my home?

No. Many staging projects take place in occupied homes. The process focuses on editing, rearranging and refining what is already there, with selected additions where needed.

  • What if the property is empty?

Vacant homes can benefit from furniture and lighting being introduced so buyers can better understand scale and layout. Staging helps define how rooms are intended to be used.

  • How long does staging take and how long will my home remain staged?

Installation time depends on the size of the property and the level of staging involved. Some projects can be completed in a single day, while larger homes may require additional preparation.
Once installed, staging typically remains in place throughout the marketing period so the property presents consistently for photography, viewings and open days. Specific timings can be agreed depending on the requirements of the sale or rental campaign.

  • Is staging only for properties for sale?

No. Staging is also used ahead of rental marketing, editorial photography and private events.

  • Will we own the images of our staged home?

Yes. Once the property has been staged and photographed, the images belong to you and can be used for your own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may occasionally request permission to feature selected images of the staged property on our website, portfolio or social channels, but this would always be discussed with you in advance.

  • How do I arrange a staging consultation?

You can get in touch to arrange an initial visit. After seeing the property we will recommend the most appropriate staging approach.
