Malcolm Turner is a potter based in the Welsh Borders. He has been building kilns and making ceramics for over 40 years and works primarily from his woodland studio, using a self-built kiln and a wood-firing process fuelled by timber sourced from the surrounding landscape. He works on the wheel and hand-builds his more conceptual pieces.

This serving platter is a one-off piece, made on the wheel and fired in the woods using a chun glaze.
